I created this chart for them to see their progress in how well they were doing. (or weren't doing, i.e. having consequences)
It is for;
- good behavior,
- completing daily chores,
- helping without being asked,
- showing the 9 fruits of the Spirit
- and anything else that we feel should be rewarded in a healthy way.
We have planned out several trips over the next few months that we will use as times they can 'cash' in their loot. Each month we have picked a place that is fun and educational.
The Loot we chose was gold coins that are from a craft and party store. The value of each will equal $0.25 in real money. That way they have a significant amount to purchase something and it also won't break the bank. :)

Each day has a slit and we will use a popsicle stick with their name to tell what place on the map they are and what day it is. We have also been working on consequences. With this a coin will be taken away if they are caught being a 'Pirate' to others.
- being rude,
- not sharing,
- lying,
- showing bad manners,
- not completed daily chores
- and so on....
It's a work in progress. As the kids age we will change the coin value and the guidelines, but everything will have the same concept.
Harley Man spent the afternoon taking cereal boxes out of our recycling and crafting treasure boxes for the twins to decorate and store their loot throughout the month. They enjoyed using stickers and markers to make them personal.
